Proofreading - How to Copyedit and Proofread Written Work
A lot of people have a problem in Proofreading because they get confused about all the symbols as well as the punctuations that are being used to indicate that some Corrections should be made in the document or the text that is being proofread as of the moment. Well, let me tell you that there is no need to be scared because there is more to proof reading than just using all these symbols to indicate that something is wrong.
One thing that will really make a difference when you are Proofreading is an eye for detail. This means that you need to have an eye that can easily through the unfinished work of the raw reading material. If you are already doing the proof reading proper, just read the text all over and do not change anything. Concentrate on the process of reading while you are already compartmentalizing the things that need to be touched by Proofreaders.
